this is moscow and st petersburg
in the late spring.
amazing history, fairytale-like architecture,
stately orthodox churchs, ERM exotic food,
majestic palaces,
awesome weather, white nights,
unbelievable european scenery.
culture-wise, there was still a tinge
of Soviet Union communism air
in the people and how they operate.
i wouldnt say that russians are the
most hospitable of people,
but the place itself more than makes
up for this.
shopping is ABSURDLY pricey,
petty theft is kinda rampant
( i witnessed one/ heard countless),
plenty of redtapes when it came to
administration and shiz.
we had shots of RUSSIAN VODKA
i thought i felt a stroke coming HAHA.
one of the most memorable
experiences is the overnight train
where i shared a cabin
with 3 russians,
who were, by my standards,
kinda expressionless
and somewhat cold.
the main thing is the girl in the next berth
stripped to nothingness as
the two dudes plainly laid motionless
as this spectacular showcase unfolded.
how do i say SIAO ANGMOH in russian?
still russia is a lovely place with such
rich history and culture,
TO LAKE BAIKAL SOME DAY!!
